Course and PD Outlines

This section of the CEM contains additional resources for teacher educators, leader educators, and in-service professional development providers.

Course Syllabi

Sample syllabi are provided for your review. One was developed by a professor for a “Reading in the Content Areas” course incorporating some aspects of disciplinary literacy. The other is an example for a secondary reading course, “Disciplinary Literacy,” that replaced the university’s former Content Area Reading course.
