Your Registered Teacher Apprenticeship can award credit for prior learning, knowledge, and experience — and CEEDAR’s new online resource offers considerations, examples, and tools to support that work. These resources also show how teacher apprenticeship programs can strengthen the workforce by building a pipeline of teachers who meet local needs.

This resource offers a curated overview of state-level legislation related to Registered Educator Apprenticeships across the United States. Drawing from the National Conference of State Legislatures’ (NCSLPreK-12 Education Legislation Database and broader state policy searches, this resource highlights legislative activity during recent legislative sessions in several states and includes brief policy summaries, direct links to relevant state legislation, and notes on the status of policies. It is intended for informational use only.
