Practice-Based Approaches for Improving Teacher Preparation

Effective practice opportunities are key to improving educator preparation. The video archive of this webinar explores:

  1. The features of effective practice.
  2. Examples of practice-based approaches used by Colleges of Education partnering with CEEDAR.
  3. Strategies for improving practice-based experiences within educator preparation programs. As a complement to the webinar, staff from the Center on Great Teachers and Leaders (GTL) and CEEDAR will share an informational brief and implementation rubric that will enable preparation providers to analyze the quality of their practice opportunities and improve them.
