2.1 Teacher candidates should be able to identify and describe evidence-based screening and progress monitoring tools across key domains (i.e., academics, behavior, SEL that meet NYS CR-S criteria including when they are used. 

2.2 Teacher candidates should be able to administer basic screenings and progress monitoring tools to identify students who need additional intervention. 

2.3 Teacher candidates should be able to use data gained from assessments to guide instructional decision making

2.1 Leader candidates should be able to identify, describe, and monitor use of screening and progress-monitoring tools teachers use in their classrooms. 

2.2 Leader candidates should also be able to identify resources that meet NYS CR-S criteria, demonstrate how to establish appropriate student/classroom goals and progress monitoring schedules and share them with their faculty/staff. 

2.3 Leader candidates should be able to describe how ENL students are identified in NY and describe the criteria needed to determine appropriate instruction.
