Innovation Configurations in Action

The CEEDAR Center works with states, universities, and education agencies. We like to say that we provide “Opportunities to Learn for Teachers and Leaders.” We are a national technical assistance center dedicated to supporting states in their efforts to develop teachers and leaders who can successfully prepare students with disabilities to achieve college and career-ready standards.

Resource Overview

Innovation Configurations are designed to evaluate current teacher preparation and professional development (PD) by determining the extent to which Evidence Based Practices are taught, observed, and applied within teacher preparation and PD programs.

Drs. Kathleen Magiera and Rhea Simmons (SUNY Fredonia) will present “Innovation Configurations in Action.” Kathleen and Rhea were recipients of an OSEP 325T program enhancement grant and share how they used Innovation Configurations extensively in their program reform efforts.
